Like a lot of the more recent Harley-Davidson® models, the all-new FXDR™ 114 is going to feature one of the most exciting engine development in recent years, the Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine. This features the kind of power and torque that’s unmatched by previous models and you can be sure you’re going to use it to dominate the road. Between the high demands of highway driving and some of the more challenging windier roads you may encounter, you’re going to need a bike that can handle it all, which is why you might want to consider the FXDR™ 114 for your next bike.

You can peel paint with the bike’s impressive performance or you can peel it with the 2-1-2 exhaust that delivers that unmistakable Harley roar. The exhaust works with the reimagined Screamin’ Eagle® Heavy Breather (now featuring an exposed, forward-facing filter element) to provide you with top of the line efficiency.

Speaking of Screamin’ Eagle, you might be interested to know this bike is styled after the award-winning Screamin’ Eagle NHRA drag bikes, which means they’re not just about performance, but when you throw in the classic elements of a Softail bike, you’ll also get superior, smoother handling. This is because all Softail motorcycles feature a monoshock rear suspension system featuring single coil-over-shock with emulsion technology. This is all a bunch of technical speak to say you’ll have a bike that smoothes out the bumps in the road without making the frame big and bulky. And, because of its racing-style roots, you’ll also get an inverted racing-style design with matching fork to give you better handling and faster response and travel time.

And now for the frame. One of the biggest advantages of choosing a Softail is that the frame is often slim and lightweight. This is very true for the 2019 FXDR™ 114 which features a frame comprised of several alloy and composite components. A lightweight frame is easier to control and maneuver so there’s no part of this machine that isn’t designed for optimized performance.

Even some of the bells and whistles are going to make your life easier. You’ll get LEDs in some key areas, like the headlamp, rear lights, and turn signals so you can not only see the road a little better, but other commuters will have a hard time missing you.
